How to fix Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Goldflake error

Method 1: Make sure your account is logged in properly

Sometimes, you can play online games without connecting to the game’s service or launcher. Due to that, you should try and make sure that you’re logged into your Steam, Battle.net, PlayStation, or Xbox account while you’re running Warzone 2.0. Open the platform’s account settings and check if the account works.

Method 2: Play the game at a different time

Unfortunately, when you’re talking about network issues, there is a big chance that it could happen because of server overload. If you’re getting the Goldflake issue, you should try playing the game during off-peak hours and check if the error still persists.

Method 3: Restart the gaming system

Sometimes, the Goldflake error in Warzone 2.0 appears when you’re using Xbox or PlayStation’s power-saving or quick resume feature, and when it happens, the only fix would be to restart the gaming system. You should turn off the game and head back to the console’s Home. Then, restart your device and run Warzone 2.0 again.

Method 4: Restart your router or modem

A modem or router is just like a tiny computer and it is made to handle a specific task – managing the internet connection. Like your console or PC, things can sometimes go wrong. You should turn off the device, wait for 10-30 seconds, and turn it on again and it’ll free it from any crashes, overheating, or IP conflict between connecting devices.

Method 5: Clear the console cache

Turn off your console (remember not to put it in sleep mode) Unplug the power cord for a few minutes Plug the power cord Turn on the console The temporary cache files will be removed
