What does the Always-On Display do on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max?
The Always-On Display uses a new screen technology and it runs the screen in a low-power mode while refreshing the screen just once per second and reducing screen brightness. Similar to Apple Watch, it’ll allow the screen to stay turned on even if your iPhone is asleep. In the dim state, your iPhone shows the lock screen, accompanied by colorful wallpaper widgets, the current date and time, and any new notifications.
