There is no doubt that LG struggles to push the latest software updates to its eligible devices on time as compared to other smartphone brands. Meanwhile, the LG UX still lacks plenty of features, customizations, and most importantly, it doesn’t look or feel good enough to plenty of users. That’s also something which LG hasn’t improved yet over the years. Needless to say that LG UX skin isn’t as optimized or intuitive as several custom skins from some other smartphone OEMs.
What’s on Android 11?
Talking about the latest Android 11 OS, it has plenty of improvements, additional features, user interface changes, and more. The Android 11 (R) introduced scheduled dark mode, smart reply, smart folders, improved app suggestions, conversation notification, in-built screen recorder, pin apps to sharing menu, improved voice accessibility, Bluetooth in Airplane mode, improved privacy & security features, new Power menu, redesigned music player, chat bubbles, one-time app permissions, auto reset permissions, etc.
Meanwhile, the latest generation of Android OS also brings improved smart home devices, notification history, wireless Android Auto, Google Play system update, improved digital wellbeing, nearby sharing, improved autofill suggestions, scoped storage, soft restart, improved call-screening, picture-in-picture mode, and more.
Eligible LG devices to get Android 11 update (Tracker)
Disclaimer: LG hasn’t announced anything yet regarding the Android 11 update on the top of the LG UX 10 version for its eligible devices. This is the expected device list which we assumed a bit and may vary from the actual official list of compatible devices.
